The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword opening cinematic revealed
Posted October 10, 2011 3:28 PM by Lucario
Nintendo has released the opening cinematic to The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for the Nintendo Wii. This highly anticipated title has taken five years to develop with involvement from over 100 staff members; it also features precise controls thanks to the addition of Wii MotionPlus support.
Taking place in the land of Skyloft, Zelda is kidnapped by a giant beast and dragged to the world below; Link must leave his home in the clouds to save his childhood friend while forging the powerful and iconic Master Sword along the way. With Skyward Sword telling the story of how the Master Sword came into existence, many believe the title could be one of the first games in the series' disputed timeline.
You can check out the opening cinematic below but be warned, there are spoilers ahoy. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be released in Europe on November 18th, in North America on November 20th, in Japan on November 23rd and finally in Australia on November 24th 2011.
